If you get a charge from being part of the team that makes this happen, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team as a Manufacturing Engineer. As a Manufacturing Engineering, you will collaborate with the team in maintaining and improving processes and systems in the manufacture of the products produced in the facility. Further, you will analyze and recommend current and future systems, procedures and equipment needs based on manufacturing requirements.
Specifically, in this role, you can expect to:
Perform technical analysis of manufacturing processes through a lens of continuous improvement.
Design and direct the acquisition of all necessary tooling and machines.
Troubleshoot day-to-day process issues, develop solutions and monitor improvements.
Procure material related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers.
Analyze and deploy engineering change notices.
Establish and maintain standard work.
Respond to customer issues and lead process improvements.
To be successful in this role, you must bring (Basic Qualifications):
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an Engineering Technology discipline.
A thorough knowledge of manufacturing concepts demonstrated through prior experience working in a large equipment manufacturing environment
Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Proficient with VPPA (Virtual Process Planning for Assembly)
Proficient with Engineering Team Center
Proficient with AutoCAD
Experience with MES and SAP
Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers
Top candidates will also bring:
Experience with 3D modeling programs (NX or Creo)
