Description

As a CNC Machining Technician, you will partner with teammates to build machines that are essential for the development of infrastructure around the world.  We build machines that build a better world.  We do this by working as a team, with safety and quality shaping the way we do our work.

• Operate, diagnose & assist teammates in the operation of large CNC Horizonal Boring Mills
• Manage and maintain current inventory of all machine cutting tools and provide opportunities for improvement to production leaders.
• Develop the best team through training programs to assist in new hire training and annual best practice training for current teammates.
• Drive continuous improvement through monitoring and reporting machine equipment trends to production leaders (OEE, Tool Life, Maintenance Needs, ect.)
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers to serve as an operations assistant for out of process work / rework due to machine issues, G-Code program adjustments and developing best practice to improve overall production and safety.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of previous experience with:
  • CNC Horizonal Milling Machine
  • CNC G-Code Programming
  • Fixture, Tooling and Rework Set-Up
• Ability to follow standard work & written instructions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Top Candidates will also have

• Technical certificate in related field
• Advanced knowledge of CNC Horizontal Boring Mills & G-Code Programming
• Basic computer operating skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ect.)Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Great attitude
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people in challenging situations.

• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Possess the Physical Ability to:
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Stand, walk, squat and bend for long periods of time
  • Climb up and down work platforms multiple times daily
  • Work on uneven surfaces

• Shift: 1st Shift – Full Time
• Hours: 7am – 3pm M-F
• Work Location: North Little Rock, AR
