As a Buyer, you will provide purchasing solutions expertise, using Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, Management to deliver maximum value.


Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible and accountable for development, communication and implementation of a regional supply base
  • Responsible to execute Global Category Strategy, in collaboration with peers across the Globe
  • Managing policies, agreements, source catalogs, and special purchasing programs; and supporting specific Product line(s) NPI programs
  • Provide leadership for sourcing, logistics and resource management decisions
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and new product introduction activities within Purchasing
  • Liaison with corresponding Category/Facility based Buyers
  • Lead supplier negotiations utilizing fact-based negotiation methodologies


Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience is preferred in purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing and/or engineering
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible job-related experience

Top candidates will also have:

  • Analytical, problem solving, and project leadership skills and experience
  • Professional certification in Purchasing and/or Inventory Management
  • Knowledge of category purchasing functions and systems
  • Ability to develop strategy
  • Strong negotiator, able to interpret, analyze and negotiate cost elements and purchasing agreements
  • Effective communicator in both written and oral form

  • This position does not offer relocation.
  • This position requires 25% or less travel.
