Job Description: 

·       Team Leader of the Analytics team in support of the operations teams that are leveraging Blue Yonder TMS for ground load planning

·       Provide analytics support using transportation data and productionized reporting platforms, such as Crystal, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.

·       Based on knowledge of Transportation operations processes and GTOC business systems, bring analytics capability to the next level while supporting the division’s strategy to achieve full visibility over freight spend and achieve real time in transit visibility including reliable ETAs

·       Owner of visibility metrics and support to visibility solution development (iviz and customer projects)

·       Develop and execute strategy around predictive analytics

·       Develop deep understanding of data structures and landscape and support goal to integrate the system landscape

·       Drive lean projects in support of the operations teams in order to automate manual steps

·       Own system integration business support and be an expert in capturing and documenting customer requirements, rooted on intellectual curiosity to understand and support operations processes. Translate in well documented user stories and support development and testing of solution until completion, including quality control.

·       Gather & document system/process requirements & enhancements (Business Requirement Document/Functional Requirement Document, DevOps cards, …)

·       Collaborate with peers in other Transportation teams and regions, with partners in IT and with service providers to develop tools, processes, data analytics and business insight that drive the Analytics team of the Ground Transportation network to the next level

·       Support master data management continuous improvement


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

 

·       Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science, Logistics or Supply Chain) or 5+ years of experience in Transportation and/or Logistics/Supply Chain 

·       Experience with Transportation planning and execution software, preferably Blue Yonder TMS and Blue Yonder Dock Scheduling

·       Basic knowledge of Python, SQL and API

·       Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access)

·       Strong knowledge of Tableau/PowerBI /Similar Reporting Platform

·       Previous project management experience with high impact initiatives  

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

·       Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

·       Ability to work independently

·       Ability to work remote from supervisor, and ability to work in close collaboration with multicultural team

·       Demonstrating willingness to adjust working hours in exceptional circumstances

 

 

Top Candidates Will Also Have: 

·       Master’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Logistics or Supply Chain)

·       Demonstrated executer able to plan and optimize most effective methods for movement of freight 

·       Basic knowledge of Snowflake

·       Basic knowledge of upstream material planning systems like MRC

·       Basis knowledge of downstream receiving planning systems like Blue Yonder WMS

·       6 Sigma/Lean Experience
