The position is part of the Caterpillar Precision Seal team working on metal face seals. The role is responsible for the continuing development of our supply base for rubber load rings as well as improving the field performance of our load rings. The person would have the responsibility of working closely with our purchasing organization on identifying new rubber suppliers and continuing development of our existing suppliers. The role would also lead efforts to improve the field performance of metal face seals through improvement in the design and materials of the rubber load rings.
