We are looking for a highly skilled versatile individual with experience in a dynamic Supply chain environment. We have a new opportunity within an existing facility in Singapore, supporting a new customer base, predominantly but not limited to the Japanese Market. Dealing with predominantly but not limited to Japanese Suppliers supporting a $multi million Aftermarket Business. We require a candidate to be fluent in the Japanese language, both written and oral. You will also have 3 years Supply chain experience. You will be familiar with stock replenishment programmes and have experience in monitoring and improving Supplier Performance.
This is an excellent opportunity to help support the growth of the Perkins Aftermarket business by providing expertise in Material Planning and Expediting in support of businesses Critical Success Factors. This role interacts directly with suppliers and there is strong attention centred on relationship building and customer focus.
The Material Planning function is responsible for a variety of predominantly Japanese based suppliers who have limited or no English Language skills. Primary responsibilities include:
Additional responsibilities include project work as required to support new initiatives and to enhance efficiencies to current material control processes.
The candidate must have the interpersonal and planning skills to manage supplier review meetings, including developing and delivering action plans to enhance supplier performance. Also being confident in liaising with internal departments such as Customer Services and Purchasing
