Caterpillar Oil, Gas & Marine Division currently has an opening for a Material Coordinator supporting Remanufactured engines located at the Cardinal Drive facility in Corinth, Mississippi. Incumbent on this job serve as an integral part of the material flow and scheduling process as the Material coordinator for supply chain functions.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring material is available to maintain an uninterrupted reclaim process and the daily scheduling/sequencing of the master production schedule from the value stream Material Analyst.
Utilize Excel spreadsheets, or production schedule, to determine where parts are to be sent or scrapped.
Safe movement of material/containers via fork lifts to designated areas.
Keep assembly/disassembly areas supplied with tubs, crank racks, skids, etc.
Place parts in proper placard tubs after they are disassembled.
Properly document material shipped or received into the facility per instructions for the area assigned.
Provide a daily sequence for operations build on work order board per the master production schedule.
Submit / Create RTS requests.
Ensure parts are ordered, and at the POU per the standard process.
Work with logistics process partners and Operations on RCCA for velocity issues.
Schedule trailers for shipments out of plant.
Incumbent also needs strong interpersonal skills, oral & written skill, and analytical skills.
