Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for a Large Engine Disassembly Team Member position located in the Corinth, MS facility. Operator will disassemble large engine components.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused environment to disassemble and clean large engines and components.

Operator should have attention to detail and be self-motivated.

Operator will work in a team environment.

Operator is expected to cross train in other areas of operations to provide flexibility within the job classification scope.

All operators will adhere to Built in Safety guidelines.

Requires use of pneumatic tools to clean/detail including die grinders and buffers to remove debris.

Requires use of pneumatic tools, impact tools and wrenches to disassemble.

Will be required to use an overhead hoist to move large components.


Job Eligibility Requirements:
Current agency workers must have met 90 days worked to be considered for this position.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience.

Previous diesel/automotive mechanic experience or experience in engine disassembly/assembly.
Experience with engines & components.
Experience with tools such as impact guns, wrenches, needle gun, pneumatic tools, vibratory tools, hand held grinder, etc.
Experience using overhead hoist.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.

Physical Requirements:

Will use supplied air powered tooling and vibrating tools.

Must be able to lift/push/pull heavy parts multiple time per shift.
Must be able to stand up to 7 hours per shift.

Must be able to use various pneumatic hand tools.
This position will require intense labor at times throughout shift which includes pushing/pulling/lifting heavy parts.

Hours: 5AM - 3PM

Facility: Corinth, MS - Cardinal Drive
Starting pay: $12.60
This is a full time position with full benefits including 401K with 6% company match.
