Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for an Engine, Cranks & Block Disassembly & Detail Team Member position located in the Corinth, MS facility. Operator will be responsible for disassembling and detailing a variety of engine components.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused environment to disassemble and detail ECB and Large Engine Components.
Operator should have attention to detail and be self motivated.
Operator will work within a “team work cell” setting.
Will use pneumatic tools to clean/detail including die grinders and buffers to remove debris.
Will use an overhead hoist to move large components.
Operator is expected to cross train in other areas of operations to provide flexibility within the job classification scope.
All operators will adhere to Built in Safety guidelines.
Requires use of pneumatic tools, impact tools and wrenches to disassemble.
Will be required to use an overhead hoist to move large components.
Operator will cross train in other areas of operations to provide flexibility within the area.
Will wear a detail suit and/or respirator.
Job Eligibility Requirements:
Current agency workers must have met 90 days worked to be considered for this position.
* Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience.
Top Candidates will also have:
• Previous experience working in a detail booth.
* Previous knowledge of engines and components
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.
* Previous experience utilizing a hoist.
* Previous engine disassembly experience
* Will wear a detail suit and/or respirator.
* Must be able to pass a respirator physical and will complete respirator training.
* May be required to lift, push, pull heavy parts multiple times per shift.
* Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours
* Must be able to work overtime as needed.
* Will use supplied air powered tooling.
* Must be able to use various pneumatic hand tools and vibratory tools.
Hours: 4PM - 2AM
Facility: Corinth, MS - Cardinal Drive
Starting pay: $12.60 with an additional $.60 night shift premium
This is a full time position with full benefits including 401K with 6% company match.
