As the Cross Vertical Aftermarket Life Cycle Manager you will focus on leading significant projects in the aftermarket space for Cat Resource Industry GET working collaboratively with MBD’s, GASD & PSLD division to drive incremental OPACC. Your three main areas of focus will be on Proper Brand Management for Cat GET aftermarket parts, solution development and deployment working with various product groups and product support for the field. In this role you will work across a matrix organization with all process partners to ensure the critical aspects of the parts business are managed and parts challenges are addressed at the product level. Further, the LCM is responsible for championing the parts business for Cat GET and supporting organizations by providing training and strategy leadership.

 
Job duties include, but not limited to:
  • Deliver cross vertical aftermarket transformation commitments
  • Work collaboratively with MBD’s, GASD and PSLD to deliver improved OPACC and grow the aftermarket parts business profitably
  • Be the brand advocate for Cat GET and ensure proper branding of all aftermarket components
  • Educate & coach PG team on the parts business
  • Lead teams to execute the aftermarket projects to drive OPACC

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible job-related experience
  • 5+ years of program/project management experience
 
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
  • Experience in at least one of the following:  New Product Introduction (NPI), 6 Sigma, product engineering, manufacturing, parts product background or field experience and
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions
  • Resource Industry knowledge and experience
 
Additional Information:
  • This position does offer relocation.
  • The preference is for the candidate to be home based in Ontario or Alberta 
  • This position requires 25% or less travel.
