As an Associate Engineer (Engineering Rotational Development Program), you will have the opportunity to learn from and contribute to a cooperative team in the design of new and current global products and processes. In this entry-level engineering position, you will build your technical expertise while learning product development through practical application and staying abreast of innovative technology. You will also build your professional network, engage with peers and receive guidance from mentors in the field.

The ERD track is a 12-24 month rotational program designed to expose entry-level design engineers to different functional areas within BCP. During the program, engineers will spend three to six months in various rotations with the rotations spanning areas of design, test, manufacturing, supply management and marketing.

 

BCP ERDs are hired for a specific position within engineering. They begin their employment with their team and return to that position at the end of the program.

Key areas or responsibility encountered in this role may include any or all of the following: evaluate new products, processes or systems; communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units; contribute to the design of new products and processes; participate in product and process improvement projects, support other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently attending (or have recently completed in last 12 months) a 4-year accredited university/college or have completed a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Systems
  • Minimum cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0/4.0 (no rounding) at current institution
  • Graduation date December 2020 – May 2021
  • Electrical systems, Electronic components and/or vehicle development, engineering, testing, validation


Top candidates will also have:


  • Leadership experience
  • Previous internship in Design/Test Role. Desire to work in electrical design
  • Involvement in Mini Baja, Formula, Quarter scale tractor, Robotics, etc. competition teams; Off Road, Military or Agricultural Machine / Systems design, test, validation or maintenance
  • Familiar with company policies and procedures
