We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Packaging Engineer focused on leading projects to drive complex artwork and design changes across a global supply base.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the Modern Hex trade dress conversion for parts packaging materials in
    Aftermarket Parts Distribution
  • Lead packaging projects within the filter supply base to design and improve new and existing solutions
  • Manage with outside design agency on packaging material drawing and artwork creation to corporate style guide standards
  • Partner with packaging suppliers globally with material production and implementation
  • Follow current guidelines and protocols while developing processes to streamline rollout
  • Communicating regularly with management on the implementation and status
  • Troubleshooting while collaborating with appropriate process partners to correct and validate
    any issues
  • Interfacing with various departments, such as central and regional Global Packaging teams, Parts Distribution Operations, Global Brand and Purchasing

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and 5+ years of progressive experience in Packaging and/or Project Management 
           OR
  • 8+ years of progressive experience as a Packaging Engineer, Project Manager, and/or Supply Chain Engineer. Qualifying experience must be within the light or heavy manufacturing industry.
 
 Top Candidates Will Also Have:
  • Experience in leading the execution of packaging changes or improvements
  • Knowledge of worldwide distribution regulations, operations, and procedures
  • Experience developing project plans and creating business cases
  • Strong customer focus
  • Interpersonal skills to successfully influence others and achieve objectives
  • Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Creative Suite experience
