Description

As a Program Coordinator, you will be committed to delivering programs on-time, within budget and to specification by improving the effectiveness of project teams through the application of professionally accepted program and project management methods, techniques, tools, and training. Provides expertise in specific areas of program and project management processes to ensure the most efficient and cost effective implementation of products and services.


Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Manage moderately complex projects that have substantial R&D value with limited management
* Facilitate programs, lead chartering sessions, develops/validates network diagrams, lead integration & compression sessions
* Coordinate between other staff personnel to complete a larger, more complex program
* Coordinate with Program Managers to schedule and support program control meetings & compression sessions
* Incorporate schedule changes/corrections during control meetings and compression sessions
* Maintain and can lead update meetings for program level issues/action logs, risk registers/FMEAs, scope change requests/logs, program work plans, program cost tracking
* Provide workshop planning, execution and follow-up assistance
* Create accurate and detailed schedules
* Capture all information, interpret, and identify relationships between activities, analyzes data from schedule updates, works with project team members to resolve logic errors
* Communicate changes due to updates, and recommends actions to resolve schedule problems
* Lead and conduct detail-planning meetings with no management
* Collaborate with functional areas to develop their detailed activities and schedule
* Provide analysis and recommendations needed to increase accuracy of program and project schedules
* Provide leadership in understanding and following program and project management standard processes
* Collaborate daily with team members to emphasize the importance of the program schedule to be successful in implementing on time, with in cost, and at the required quality targets
* Provide administrative planning and follow-up for program team, steering committee, and governance review meetings
* Interpret and transfer work breakdown structure (WBS) into project management software
* Work hand-in-hand with consultants in large program planning sessions
* Interpret & communicate Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Business (VOB) needs
* Mentor/coach and train other Program Coordinators, individual project managers, and project teams in the program management processes and software
* Create report packages and communicate or post program or project status
* Maintain a program web site

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Four year college
* Thorough understanding in program and project management tools & processes
* Broad knowledge of company policies and processes, and company products and customers with direct project management experience
* Five to seven years of progressively responsible job-related experience in Program Coordination, Information Technology, Engineering, project management or NPI
* Excellent interpersonal skills including team leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical and organizational skills


Desired Qualifications:

* University degree with a technical focus
* Previous Green Belt experience is a plus
