In this Supply Chain Planning Engineer role for the Manufacturing Parts Node network (MPN) you will be responsible for learning, leveraging and deploying Lean methodology to drive local and global improvement in supply chain performance, inventory turns and our order-to-delivery results. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:


  •         Lead local and global Lean events delivering supply chain process improvement resulting in increased value to our customer

  •        Development of material flow plans for material entering into our distribution network

  •         Reviewing, analyzing, and utilizing supply chain and warehouse operations data with the intent to make or impact business decisions

  •        Work effectively across global, diverse, multi-functional teams to develop lean material, process and data flows

  •         Lead projects to further integrate our Supply Chain Processing Center capabilities into the global MPN Supply chain through the integration of Robotic Process Automation and other system and logic based efficiencies.

 

 

Required Qualifications:


·        Experience and knowledge of Lean concepts and tools

·        Bachelors Degree with focus in (Engineering, Business or Supply Chain)

·        5-7 years of Supply Chain related experience in Operations, Transportation, or Procurement

·        Previous experience using common supply chain planning systems

·        Strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiations skills in order to drive common supply chain     processes across multiple departments within organization

·        Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills

·        Ability to design and deploy lean solutions in a highly productive environment

Desired Qualifications:


·        Experience and knowledge of Lean concepts and tools

·        APICS CSCP or equivalent certification

·        Masters Degree
