As an NPI Team Lead, you will provide direct support for Caterpillar’s Ground Engaging Tools 3rd Party Bucket Manufacturers participating in the Cat GET Licensing Program globally and complete related special projects as assigned. This work may include supporting product price reviews (internal and external), reviewing product profitability, analyze competitive environment and administration/evaluation of current and future products; analyzing revenue contribution from volume, POPS-C and price.  Further, you will be responsible for championing the Cat GET Licensing Program and supporting organizations by providing training and strategy leadership.

Job duties include, but not limited to:
  • Deliver cross vertical aftermarket transformation commitments
  • Work collaboratively with 3rd Party Bucket Manufacturers, Machine Business Divisions, Global the Aftermarket Services Disvision, and the Product Support and Logistics Division to grow the aftermarket parts business profitably.
  • Be the brand advocate for Cat GET and ensure proper branding of all aftermarket components
  • Lead teams to execute the aftermarket projects to drive profit


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible job-related experience in at least one of the following:  NPI, 6 Sigma, product engineering, manufacturing, parts product background or field experience
  • Previous experience with company products and product applications, dealer network, merchandising programs, and/or warranty practices and procedures 
  • 5+ years of program/project management experience
  • 5+ years of data analysis experience in Excel or other programs
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
  • Experience in more than one product development area
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions

Additional Information:

This position does offer relocation.

This position requires 50% or less travel.
