Our team is currently looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Logistics Operations Manager at our Clayton, Ohio Distribution Center.  This Distribution Center plays an important role within the Parts Distribution Network. The Clayton DC is an Entry Point for North American Suppliers, in turn supplying the other Global DC's with this material. As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will have an opportunity to manage all aspects of a storeroom operation including responsibility for Quality, Productivity, Cost, Maintenance and Safety performance, to provide World Class service to assigned dealers and direct-end users.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for training, developing and mentoring, all personnel issues and performance evaluation of subordinates.
  • Responsible for facility business plans including working with peers on preparation of manpower plans, capital and expense budgets.
  • Key member of the facility leadership team.
  • Monitoring and managing key performance criteria.
  • Developing medium term strategic plans and direction.
  • Responsible for facility care/condition (security, maintenance, facility rearrangement support, housekeeping), IT, purchasing and other warehouse support functions
  • Training and development for team of roughly 20 (including production, support and management).
  • Managing and developing contractor relationships


Basic Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of at least three of the following: parts distribution operations, contractor maintenance, developing and managing facility budgets, purchasing, and facility health functions.
  • 5 + years progressively responsible job-related experience
  • 3 + years of leadership experience
Top candidates will also have:
  • Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Previous Project Management Experience

Additional Information:

This position does offer relocation.

This position requires 10% or less travel.
