JOB SUMMARY: Carry out the activities necessary to provide credit to customers within acceptable limits of risk to the company. Negotiate complex financial transactions, prepare transactions for documentation and funding within limits of authority, and assist in the administration of wholesale and retail customer "loan" covenant compliance reviews, including on-site record and physical machine/inventory audits.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Negotiates financial transactions and prepares transactions for documentation and funding with emphasis placed on complex transactions. Assists in administration of wholesale and retail customer "loan" covenant compliance reviews, including on-site record and physical machine/inventory audits.
- Approves/rejects CFSC customer deals within approved credit authority and recommends deals beyond credit authority. May restructure customer deals. Conducts and monitors credit investigations. Assists in leading the documentation of retail receivables and in-processing. Signs and funds documented transactions within approved credit authority. Manages accounting input and audits booked deals for accuracy. May perform training and provide technical direction to employees in the Credit Manager’s absence.
- Understands the established continuous improvement objectives for the region. Measures progress toward the continuous improvement standards and sees that the necessary measurements are maintained. Participates in the resolution of any identified problems. Analyzes data and makes all business decisions based on such analysis.
- Understands the Harassment policy of the company and is responsible for its application in all aspects of employment.

- Demonstrated knowledge of financing and leasing products of the subsidiary.

- Demonstrated knowledge of security filing requirements and their applicability to bankruptcy laws and regulations.

- Demonstrated ability to apply effective oral, written, and listening communication skills with dealers, customers, company personnel, and the financial community.
- Ability to operate office equipment including a telephone system, financial calculator, and desktop/laptop computers.

- Demonstrated ability to prepare marketing reports and marketing related statistical reports.
A 4-year university degree or equivalent diploma and a minimum of 4 years exempt experience in credit, collections, marketing and/or financial statement analysis is recommended. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.
