This is an entry-level position that requires a familiarity with computers and the standard suite of Microsoft Office Applications, and eventually with the project management software and operating platform. The incumbent will help support the Program Management Group.
Intern will interact with PMO personnel and customer teams to provide support services to facilitate and develop project schedules and high-level reports. Incumbents may perform all or portions of the following duties: Develops high-level reports at the local work site under direction of the supervisor. Adheres to established group policies and procedures for project management at local work site; incumbent may be responsible for entering project data from planning sessions, project updates, works with project team members to resolve logic and other schedule quality errors, and works with the Program Coordinator to resolve those errors. Maintains schedule templates and database structure under close direction of the supervisor. Good interpersonal skills, an ability to work effectively in a team environment, computer competency, good keyboarding skills, and an attention to detail are required.

- Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following degree programs: Business, or Engineering
- Applicant must attend 4-year university within driving distance to the facility in which they will be working
- Graduation date of May 2021 or beyond
- Applicant must be able to work 15-20 hours per week
- GPA requirements: minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Top Candidates will also have:
- Experience using project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
- Experience assisting with or leading planning sessions
- Leadership experience
This is a part time opening located in East Peoria, IL. Relocation is not available for this position
