As a Client Manager at Caterpillar, you will negotiate, manage and ensure profitability of the Logistics Service Agreement between Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) and Caterpillar Building Construction Products Division (BCP).


Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Negotiates, manages, and ensures profitability of the Logistics Service Agreement (LSA) between Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) and Caterpillar Building Construction Products Division (BCP)
  • Manages contractual obligations on a day-to-day basis
  • Duties include, monitoring and reporting service, inventory, inventory accuracy, warehousing costs, transportation, purchased finished goods costs, and assorted support group costs
  • This position is also responsible for the PSLD Direct Ship program for all of Cat Parts (not limited to BCP)
  • Duties include supplier management and dealer order fulfillment for Direct Ship parts along with working with product groups to expand opportunities for Direct Ship.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Previous experience in inventory management and control, transportation, purchasing, and/or parts distribution
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible job-related experience
Top candidates will also have:
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions

Additional Information:

This position does offer relocation
This position requires 10% or less travel.
