Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Caterpillar offers a unique opportunity within our Marketing Organization to allow students to gain a wealth of real-wold practical experience and establish core marketing competencies.  Marketing professionals across the enterprise help our dealers and customers succeed in their business through the promotion and selling of products and services; including market research and advertising to the industries we serve.  Caterpillar's Oil and Gas team is seeking a Marketing intern to help assist with the following projects:

- Marketing Automation Campaign
- Increasing and evaluating organization's Social Media Presence
- Provide support to specified web campaigns
- Assist in Video and Content creation
- Other assignments as determined by supervisor

Summer 2020: May 18, 2020 – August 7, 2020 
This is a 40 hour per week assignment, lasting 16 weeks.

Required Qualifications:

Internship Program Qualifications:

* Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following degree programs: Marketing, Advertising or related degree.
* Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0 (no rounding).
* Expected graduation date of December 2020 and beyond.
* If a transfer student, must have 12 semester hours completed at 4-year university.
* Must be able to relocate to Houston, TX area for duration of internship, and complete daily work commute using reliable transportation.
* Previous experience with Adobe Software
* Previous marketing/advertising internship

Desired Qualifications:

* Previous experience/level of proficiency with the following areas:
- Construction Equipment
- Mining Equipment
- Diesel Equipment
- Natural Gas Engines
- On-Highway Trucks
* Strong Initiative, Communication, Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
* Familiarity with Caterpillar Products
