Responsibilities Include:


  •        Modify PLC programs to improve features and functions of Caterpillar Switchgear products.
  •        Assist in the development of remote access system for generator paralleling control system.
  •       Develop default settings files for different protective relays and corresponding documentation
  •        Modify internal documentation to improve processes and procedures of the Engineering department.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following degree programs:  Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Computer Engineering
  • Current GPA of 3.0 (no rounding)
  • Applicant must be able to work 40 hours during the Summer, and 15-20 hours per week in the Fall and Spring

  • Must be within driving distance to the facility
