We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Parts Lifecycle Project Leader in Morton, IL.

As the Parts Lifecycle Project Leader, you will lead teams across divisions to develop and execute processes in support of Cross-Vertical Transformation Workstreams 1 (Digitization) and 2 (Part Number Governance).  This is a multi-disciplined role that will require technical familiarity of Caterpillar parts, ability to organize and prioritize complex problems, leadership experience, and strong interpersonal skills. 


Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead projects to digitize part design data to optimize part cost and price.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify part number reduction opportunities and develop and execute projects to realize these opportunities.
  • Lead projects to define and execute processes as part of an overall Part Lifecycle Management vision


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree (or international equivalent) from an accredited college or university
  • Strong project leadership experience with exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile and fast-paced environment

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Mathematics
  • Previous 6 Sigma Black Belt experience
  • Previous parts support or distribution experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively across divisions
  • Strong communications and facilitation skills
