JOB SUMMARY: Provide technical support and enhancements to existing infrastructure. Work with more experienced infrastructure team members in developing solutions to customer related requests and/or system problems.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities vary, but may include various combinations of the following duties.
Provides technical infrastructure support, including problem identification and resolution.
Follows established development and support processes, including but not limited to, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) or related methodologies.
Works with business partners to gather requirements for technical solutions and troubleshoots system related issues.
Performs basic configuration, implementation and upgrades of existing infrastructure under general supervision.
Provides support and input to projects, including task planning and execution.
Works within well-defined objectives and instructions from systems staff for use in designing, testing and documentation.
Works to automate tasks and processes with scripting and automation tools.
Strives to meet the quality standards set forth by management.
Ensures availability when necessary for off-shift and weekend support functions.
Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department. Progress toward accomplishment of these is measured through maintenance of necessary measurements and analysis of associated data. Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC, ITSM or related methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and participate on one or more projects.
Demonstrated knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, SQL etc.).
Demonstrated knowledge of one or more technical infrastructure components (e.g. Web Server, Middleware, Database, Operating System, Virtualization, Server, Storage, Backups, Network Switch and Router).
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
Ability to gain a general understanding of core business procedures and operations.
Ability to troubleshoot and recommend process changes that improve the overall implementation, maintenance and support of technical infrastructure.
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply basic math and data analysis skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A 4-year college or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 1 to 2 years of enterprise technology experience is recommended. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.

Experienced in leading Audio Visual planning sessions and events.
Advanced ability to successfully lead A/V events and process improvement.
Advanced ability to motivate vendors, suppliers, business partners, peers and team members to achieve enterprise objectives.
Technical knowledge in audio visual infrastructure, systems and running large scale events.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Management Information Services strongly preferred or applicable years of Audio Visual experience.
Project Management or Six Sigma Black Belt experience
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing with Information Services and Business/Technical stakeholders/managers
