As a Data Analyst, you will use quantitative methods such as business simulations, data mining and advanced statistical techniques to quantify and map data, identify root causes and solve problems. You will act as the technical/analytical lead in diverse projects to improve main operational KPI’s with a strong focus on quality, velocity and efficiency improvements. You will work on Transformational projects and help shape the future of logistic processes and material flows, based on data and simulations that you provide. You will be instrumental in setting up reporting tools and will act as a trainer when these reports are being rolled out.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Maximize OPACC by determining the principal drivers and developing simulation/optimization capabilities. In a later phase, you will identify issues and recommend the optimal solutions to the business teams.
Participate on cross-functional project teams
Explain conclusions to customers with limited knowledge and experience with quantitative analytical methods
Demonstrate eagerness to solve business problems
Continual learning in the analytics field
Master’s degree with quantitative background
Microsoft Excel and Access experience including: pivot tables, functions, short cuts, tables, queries, forms, reports and data connections
Experience with data mining and data analytics in large data sets
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of systems/analytical tools: Teradata, BOBJ, Tableau, SAP, Power BI
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focus
Able to build strong relationships with various stakeholders
Previous project management experience is a plus
