The purpose of this position is to design and manage the Caterpillar Intern, Co-op and Student Trainee (non-graduating student) programs that serves key business priorities and the long-term early talent conversion strategy.  To help foster robust early talent experiences that focuses on development and retention, that creates and sustains a strong early talent pipeline for our future strategy. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
*Collaboratively design and facilitate a superior end-to-end experience for Undergraduate and Master’s/MBA level talent that includes: Pre-Onboarding and Participant Engagement, Project Assignments, Intern Orientation Experience (Week 1), and the annual 10-16 week internship/co-op/student trainee programs (speakers, workshops, social events, etc.), both local and remote.
*Build and manage an annual plan to effectively manage deliverables, timelines, resources, and budget.

*Own full scope coordination of Intern/Co-op/Student Trainee events, activities and large-scale event management plans.

*Coordinate University Relations core teams to support execution of program events, program logistics, technology, and procurement of equipment/materials needed for the student to successfully work and deliver results against their goals.

*Partner with Global Early Talent leader, US Early Talent Leader, local Lead HR Managers, and Hiring Managers to build the internship program curriculum and framework aligned within Global Early Talent and University Relations; adopt for enterprise and guide for remote/regional use.

*Develop scalable and sustainable training's and workshops to support learning and development of diverse talent pipelines for the Intern program; adopt for enterprise and guide for remote/regional use.

*Deliver impactful training sessions for Intern Managers and Peer Coaches for readiness and pre-onboarding.

*Leverage industry insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, informed decisions, and program competitiveness.

*Use surveys and data analytics to evaluate program effectiveness and ROI.

*Serve as a thought partner in collaboration with the Global and US Early Talent Managers, Senior Leaders, Lead HR Managers and Hiring Managers to develop and activate an internship program that serves key business priorities and the long-term early talent conversion strategy.

*Work collaboratively with Diversity & Inclusion, internal/external business partners, vendors, and various cross-functional teams to ensure integration of diverse programming, workshops, and events.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

*Bachelor's Degree
*Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in University Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, HR, Sales, Recruiting or similar discipline; experience in program management is a plus
*Relevant work experience in project management, customer service and building robust project plans
*Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and the ability to create high quality presentations in PowerPoint is a must

*Demonstrated ability to effectively plan events, guide multiple projects and competing priorities, while maintaining flexibility to shift priorities as needed to meet business goals
*Excellent interpersonal, organizational/event planning skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with high attention to detail
*Experience as an effective and engaging presenter/facilitator across multiple levels of an organization
*Collaborative, open communicator and effective relationship builder
*Knowledge of learning concepts and best practices
