Caterpillar Northern Ireland is one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of diesel generator sets and provider of power generating solutions. Formerly FG Wilson, the business was acquired by Caterpillar in 1999 and is now an integral part of the Caterpillar Corporation and host to multiple divisions that operate on our sites. The manufacturing facilities in Larne, Monkstown and Springvale Belfast are augmented by a Shared Services centre in the Springvale Industrial Park, Belfast that provides administrative support for the local business as well as for other Caterpillar European entities. Interfacing closely with other Electric Power facilities globally, Caterpillar Northern Ireland has a diverse product portfolio that also includes the production of major subassemblies to the articulated truck, medium wheel loader and other operations within UK and Europe.

We have an exciting opportunity for a placement student to join the Communications team. Working with others across our organisation, you would be directly involved and at the heart of our business, taking on strategic projects of your own.
