The Product Support and Logistics (PSLD) Division has an exciting opportunity available as a Human Resources Manager based in Peoria, IL.


In this role, you will be responsible for leadership, guidance, counsel, oversight, and support of all critical and strategic human resource needs and initiatives for PSLD’s Steel and Specialty Products organization.  This position provides strategic HR Leadership to functional organizations including Engineering, Commercial, Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain with nearly 3500 employees at 20+ facilities around the world. Responsibilities include leadership and execution of strategic workforce planning, talent management, organizational design, labor relations and employee and leadership development.  This individual will be responsible for overseeing and driving the business strategy of PSLD’s globally diverse business through supportive HR leadership and services with a customer focused mindset while ensuring that change management is embedded throughout our business strategy.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to become a trusted business partner for leaders, have strong business acumen and strategic thinking while delivering practical, results orientated solutions.


Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

*Provide leadership and expertise for the full scope of Human Resource functions for client groups including:  organizational development, diversity & inclusion, strategic workforce planning, talent pipeline & development and employee engagement.

*Partner with business leaders to attract, assess, develop and retain critical talent for the organization while driving a meaningful employee experience.

*Support and coach business leaders to create a high-performing work environment to maximize capability individually and collectively.

*Provide consistent direction and coaching to business unit leaders and facilitate leadership and employee development.

*Provide HR/business execution guidance and coaching to global manufacturing operations HR personnel.


Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in addition to 10+ years of HR experience

* Significant generalist experience supporting global businesses and all employee types (production and staff)

* A minimum of 3 years leadership experience

*Previous HR supporting Operations or functional Operations experience

*Excellent influencing, coaching and interpersonal skills

*Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills

*Ability to create a vision, lead change and strive for continuous improvement

*Demonstrated success in a matrixed organizational structure
