About the Job:  In this internship you will be challenged with real world projects and assignments that add value and develop professional skills. This internship will involve the following:

-  Working with leaders and teams to build and execute creative marketing communication plans     and strategies

-  Supporting photo and video production

-  Monitoring and auditing social media channels and external platforms to drive the Cat brand   messaging strategy

-  Writing and copy-editing external communications including social media

-  Recommending social media content based on data collection and metrics analysis;     appropriately deliver return on investment (ROI) for branding efforts

-  Creating eye-catching visual communications

-  Continuing education to understand algorithms and best practices to drive maximum social     engagement

-  Other communications as needed 

-  Ongoing reporting and content optimizations

Internship Program Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, four-year accredited college or university or     graduate school in one of the following degree programs: communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or business
  •  Minimum 3.0/4.0 Cumulative GPA (no rounding)
  •  Must be able to work at least 15 hours / week
  •  Expected graduation: December 2020 and beyond
  •  Proficient in all social media channels including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Must be within driving distance to the facility in which they will be working


Top candidates will also have:

· P   * Previous internship experience in communications or marketing

·       * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       * Visual communications experience; proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

·       * Strong knowledge of social media channels
