JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
-  Safely perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials equipment and supplies.
-  Operates hand held scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
-  Performs housekeeping functions as required and reports defects and need for repairs.
-  Utilizing reach trucks, sit-down forklifts and order pickers.


Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-  Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment

 

FUTURE CATERPILLAR EMPLOYEES/TOP CANDIDATES WILL ALSO HAVE:
-  Ability to read/write and interpret documents
-  Ability to perform a variety of clerical functions and do basic math
-  Good social skills and strong dedication to safety and collaboration
-  Ability to obtain vehicle certification

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-  Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes. Infrequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
-  Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
-  Walk squat and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes, with or without reasonable accommodation

 

SHIFT OPPORTUNITIES:
2nd – Monday – Friday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
3rd – Sunday night – Friday morning: 10:00pm -6:00am

You deserve a total rewards package and that is why Caterpillar offers a 50% match on the first 6% plus an additional 3% of previous year earnings, day one medical, dental, vision and RX. You can earn a quarterly bonus (up to $750) because we value your performance. You will receive 15 vacation days (available the January following your start date) and 11 paid holidays (throughout the course of one full year). Caterpillar values your hard work and development, so we offer two $0.25 increases a year. Your Caterpillar career is in your hands, so we give you the opportunity for overtime hours or shifts, education and development necessary for your success and the success of Caterpillar.
