Description

As an Analytics Team Leader in this position, you will be responsible for solving highly complex problems presented by a business unit using machine learning, data mining, data visualization and discrete event simulation techniques. The complex problems include, but not limited to, engineering tool automation and analytics function development, manufacturing data visualization and diagnosis, machine application profiling using collected data, machine data hub visualization, manufacturing process or supply chain network modeling and simulation.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • 1 year experience applying predictive analytics to solve complex business problems which includes the following:  (i) logistics center or warehouse design and validation by using logistics traffic simulation, material replenishment analysis and resource utilization analysis; (ii) manufacturing value stream rapid prototyping and simulation for tradeoff and what-if studies; and (iii) optimization of production schedule, process improvements, and DES-based tool development.
  • 1 year (concurrent) database programming experience with (i) Oracle, MySQL or equivalent; (ii) statistical and mathematical programming with MATLAB, Python, or R; and (iii) Discrete Event Simulation programming with PlantSim, FlexSim, Arena or equivalent.

 

 

 In lieu of the above, would accept:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
