Analytics Professionals are the data driven, business professionals using quantitative methods such as business simulations, data mining and advanced statistical techniques to solve problems for internal business partners and external Caterpillar customers.
As an Advanced Analytics Part Time Intern, you will be immersed in our business and introduced to our analytics tools and techniques, enabling you to provide data based insights that drive business decisions. In some cases, you will be involved in developing new analytics tools customized for Caterpillar applications.
Typical problems include, but are not limited to: identifying new potential customers for marketing opportunities, determining machine application profiles to understand operator’s behaviors, conducting different site-level simulations for productivity improvement, exploring emerging analytics technology for Caterpillar applications, automating or optimizing business or product development process, etc.
This position will be Full-Time during the 2020 Summer at our Champaign, Illinois - Research Park Facility.
