As a Cleaner/Assembler on second shift, you’ll receive competitive pay starting at $13.80 per hour plus an additional shift premium of $0.95. Over time, based on performance, attendance and business need.
You’ll have the opportunity for pay increases based on skills and performance, as well as an annual opportunity for a merit increase, and a quarterly bonus.

As a Caterpillar Cleaner/Assembler in
Wamego, Kansas, you will:
Operates air hammer, DA sander, and/or hand scraper to remove weld slag, weld splatter and excess mill scale and to smooth rough edges.
Assemble product following blueprints.
Prepares surface by removing excess dirt, oil, and grease by operating a pressure washer, air wand, brake cleaner, and rags.
Read packets to distinguish weight, color, and quantity of product goes with work order.
Operate forklift to move parts and product.
Use jib and overhead cranes to manually position parts and product.
Work Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 2:00am, with overtime as required or available.
Commit to being on-time and reliable.
