Information Technology Internship Program Details:

We have excellent opportunities for interns in our Information Technology team. This is a great way to gain hands on experience with an exciting manufacturing company in your field of interest. Below are a few possible areas of open internship positions.

Application Support & Development - As an Application Development intern, you will be assigned to a team developing and supporting IT applications that are used globally by internal and external process partners. Our applications are both purchased and in-house developed, within a complex environment integrated across the functional areas of our company.
This provides a significant challenge and the ability to work on varying tools and software languages to help our end users be effective. Students will join a team to define, develop, implement, integrate, and support world-class information systems using a broad tool base of Java, .Net, Cobol, SAP, Service Oriented Architecture, DataStage, WebSphere, Oracle, and DB2 technologies.

Summer 2019 Session: May 18, 2020 - August 7, 2020 
This is a 40 hour per week assignment.

Required Qualifications:

Internship Program Qualifications:
*Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college in an IT/Computer Science related degree program or sequence
*Minimum cumulative GPA requirement 2.8 (no rounding)
*Expected graduation date December 2020 and beyond. 
* Strong coding experience with Java
*Must be able to relocate to the Corinth, Mississippi area or indicated work location for duration of internship, and complete daily work commute using reliable transportation.

*Leadership experience
*Previous internship in Information Technology
* Ability to perform system troubleshooting  
*Familiar with company policies and procedures
*Good analytical and problem solving skills, must be detail oriented
*Customer focused
*Display high sense of urgency
*Effective time management skills
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Able to work independently or as a collaborative team member
