*Our Engineering Rotational Development Program is designed for recent engineering graduates to transition from student to an Entry Level full-time engineer. *


The Product Development track is a 12-18-month entry level, multi-rotational program focused on building technical competency within Caterpillar’s full product lifecycle of design, validation, test, simulation, research and technical support. Caterpillar's Product Development track has entry level positions in the following areas (Please indicate your area(s) of interest):


Research

Support and enhance Caterpillar product performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability. The Research function works in conjunction with business partners to lead the development and deployment of technology into products and services to deliver customer value.

 
Professionals within the program must be willing to travel and relocate domestically.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently attending a 4-year accredited university/college or have completed a minimum PhD degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0/4.0 (no rounding) at current institution
  • Expected graduation date August 2019 - August 2020
  • Previous technical internship/co-op or relevant experience
  • Must be willing to relocate and travel accordingly

 


Desired Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience
  • Involvement in Mini Baja, Formula, Quarter scale tractor, etc. competition teams in college
  • Familiar with company policies and procedures
