The Product Support & Logistics Division currently has an opening for a Supply Chain Performance Engineer in our Peoria, IL facility.

   

JOB PURPOSE:  This role consists of two key responsibilities, leading the S&OP meetings with PF suppliers and managing the day to day execution of expanded mining undercarriage activities.              

 

JOB DUTIES: 

  • Expanded Mining Undercarriage (EMUC) Supply Chain Planning
  • Supply Chain Execution - Phase In Phase out Plan for sourcing changes and NPI changes
  • Forecast – Custodian of both Long Term Forecast and Short-term forecast (receiving the forecast from the respective owners and making sure the data is validated)
  • Interface with ASR’s (Aftermarket Service Representative) to develop forecast and provide EAUs (Estimated annual usage) per request (request from purchasing on what is the demand, for purchasing)
  • Supplier Capacity with Respect to Business Plan
  • Past Due Recovery Plans
  • Responsible for NPI (New Product Introduction) - Supply chain activities be part of Sourcing Studies as needed
  • Attend - International Components Team (ICT) meetings as needed with EMUC team
  • Attend Sourcing Council
  • Attend Change Council

S&OP with Key Purchase Finished and Internal Facilities for:

  • EMUC- 5 suppliers in Asia and Europe (key purchase finished and internal facilities)
  • Ground Engaging Tools (GET) – 5 suppliers in Asia and Europe (key purchase finished and internal  facilities)
  • Occasional travel needed to the suppliers

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor degree, preferably related to Supply Chain
  • Prior experience running NPI projects or being part of NPI projects 
  • Prior experience CPS RIW and Value Stream Transformation process
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible supply chain job experience
  • Solid supply chain planning, demand and orders, logistics and manufacturing knowledge
  • Ability to effectively communicate and deliver results with key customers


Top Candidates will also have: 

  • APICS, CPIM or CSCP Certification highly desired
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
