Caterpillar is seeking an experienced B2B Technology Solutions Representative to join a thriving business unit in the Europe/CIS regions.

As the Technology Solutions Representative for the Minestar Detect division, you will be responsible for working with customers to identify their safety technology and cultural change needs and share with them the most appropriate services, products and cultural change processes to meet their organisations requirements.

As one of the sales consultants in the team, you will be tasked with helping to establish building the business. Your success in this role will provide you with the platform for long-term career growth and personal development potential.

In this role you will manage the tracking and forecasting of monthly revenues, identify key accounts to target and work towards strong execution of your sales strategy. Working closely with the Caterpillar Dealer network you will participate in trade shows and workshops, deliver presentations and retain ownership of your business plan, business proposals and implementation plans.

You will be selling innovative technologies and premium service and must be comfortable working with large, complex customers to sell a high-quality process. You will be given the latitude to work with EU and CIS customers in your territory, resulting in a 50%-70% travel schedule.

Once your customer accounts have been secured, a specialist consultant will manage the delivery of the services and processes. Consultants will rely heavily on you for assistance if contract variations or additional consulting requirements arise. As the customer relationship expert, you will maintain a strong and trusting partnership with all your clients from conception to completion.

To be successful in this role you must have a strong desire to sell and enjoy watching your customers succeed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree qualification and/or significant experience in B2B sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to operate autonomously
  • Leadership coaching or supervisory experience is beneficial
  • Industry specific experience within Cat Dealers, Mining, Heavy Construction, Pipeline, Oil & Gas, Consulting, Training, Continuous Improvement or Safety Management
