Within our Geneva head office located, we offer a complete Graduate Internship Program for a period of 13 months from 1 July 2019 to 31 July 2020.

To hold a position as a graduate intern in the GCI EAME Team of Industry Segments & Work Tools.  The person will be part of the business development group, working alongside the industry field reps and segment specialists.



The incumbents report to the “Business Development Supervisor”, in the Sales & Marketing Team of the Industry Segments & Work Tools.  The person will need to have an interest in understanding and working with business partners focused on growing machine & work tools sales into the Industry Segments – Waste, Recycling, Demolition, Ports & Steel Mills.  This area of the business is more detailed, so a technical background is preferred yet not mandatory.  The incumbent will receive guidance and direction from supervisor & colleagues, yet the individual needs to be able to learn quickly and be self-sufficient when running projects and tasks on their own. 


The duties mainly include but not limited to:

  • Marketing Planning activities

  • Developing training packages focused on specific goals

  • Planning & supporting dealer & customer events

  • Project Management

  • Supporting colleagues in process-oriented activities

  • Market Analysis

  • Monthly Reporting

  • Product understanding & testing


Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and must be able to listen very well to business partner’s needs, both internally & externally.  Must be professional and responsive in a fast-paced environment while being positive, organized & effective. 


The position does require travel which amounts to ~10 – 15%.



Profile required

  • Min BA degree holder in HEC, engineering, marketing or sales or similar
  • Maximum of 3 years work experience
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Swiss citizen or holder of a valid B or C permit/ EU citizen
