In this role, you will support several Caterpillar Divisions within the Services, Distribution & Digital segment, including: Global Aftermarket Solutions (GASD); Cat Digital; Americas Distribution, Services & Marketing (ADSM); Europe Africa Middle East Eurasia (EAME); and Asia Pacific Distribution (APD).
There are two main areas of responsibilities -
Enable financial and operational integrity through internal control development and assessment e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Provide ongoing support for Caterpillar's
Enterprise Ethics & Compliance Program.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating the annual SOx controls scoping process for all divisions supported
Planning and executing SOx controls testing/assessments, documenting issue remediation and performing validation
Executing activities in support of Small Entity Checklist, Financially Significant Application (FSA), and Lower Tier Certification requirements
Executing other compliance risk area self-assessment protocols for key risk areas
Developing and delivering SOx tester training
Bachelor's level degree in Accounting and or professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA etc
Relevant understanding and practical experience in accounting
Professional Certification (Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Certified Accountant (CCA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or equivalent)
MBA or Masters Degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
Accounting experience at a large public accounting firm or Fortune 500 company
Higher levels of Building Inclusive Relationships, Customer Focus, Dealing with Uncertainty, and Priority Setting
Demonstrate very good communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
