The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team at Caterpillar is on a journey to modernize our IAM tools and solutions.  We are looking for individuals with a passion for learning and ability to thrive in a high performing team environment.  As an Solution Delivery Analyst in IAM, you will be responsible start to finish for the replacement of legacy IAM tools and solutions to a suite of products from Ping Identity.  These products are PingSSO, PingAccess, and PingGovernance.  Ideal candidates will have a deep technical knowledge in the IAM space. 
 
General Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Programming, development, integration and system administration assignments without close supervision
Working on complex application/technical problem resolution, including responding to occasional off-shift and weekend support calls
Working independently on complex systems in support of infrastructure component change management
Performing integrated testing and customer acceptance testing of system component updates that require careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality results
Performing integration tasks for in-house developed systems and/or purchased hardware and software solutions
Assist customers with documentation, training and usability efforts
 

Solution Delivery Analyst Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining Subject Matter Expertise on Identity and Access Management disciplines, such as: Authentication, Authorization, Federation, Access Management, Directory, etc 
Designing, piloting, and implementing the following products enterprise-wide as new platforms at Caterpillar:  PingSSO, PingAccess, or PingGovernance
Working independently to gain understanding of the new platforms through product documentation
Working with web application servers and application teams to migrate and adopt the new platforms
Ensuring new platforms are well documented and easily consumable service offerings
Ensuring new platforms reduce the overall information risk profile of Caterpillar
Ensuring new platforms are implemented to support on-premise, hybrid, and cloud applications

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
BS in computer science with 3-5 or 5-7 equivalent technical experience
1-2 years of Federated Identity and Single Sign-On concepts
1-2 years of SAML, WS-Fed, WS-Trust
1-2 years OAuth and OpenID
1-2 years of general networking, including HTTP/S, TCP/IP, load balancers, firewalls, proxies and familiarity with tools for troubleshooting networking issues such as Fiddler
1-2 years of implementing an IAM solution in a previous job role

Desired Qualifications:
Experience implementing Ping Identity products
AD/LDAP skills and directory services
User Account Provisioning and Synchronization services
Authentication technologies (Kerberos, multi-factor, mutual TLS, etc.)
Windows security related technologies including Kerberos, NTLM, PKI, TLS/SSL and Security Policy
Knowledge of enterprise Identity Management products such as SailPoint Identity IQ
Experience with web application servers such as WebSphere and Tomcat
Developer languages (JAVA, .NET, PHP, JavaScript, PERL etc.)
Comfortable working in a Windows/Linux environment
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
