This position is a category buyer for Structure.
  
Major 2020 Development Projects to support: Structure category negotiation (Maintain competitive price in 2020)  / RPM negotiation and execution / Service parts performance improvement
 
 The buyer would be responsible for:
* OIA through RPM and Negotiation with Fabrication supplier
* NPI/Current Prod: Should cost management and sourcing strategy
* Daily workload – RFQ and system input, Deliver stable PQVC result 
* Lean and BIQ deployment 
* Executes capacity planning (RCCP) 
* Supplier issue resolution (Greeff, Communication with supplier)
* Accountable for their suppliers' domestic and international division spend.
 
 Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
 
* Responsible and accountable for development, and/or communication and implementation of a local or regional sourcing strategy 
* Managing policies, agreements, source catalogs, and special purchasing programs; and supporting specific Product line(s) NPI programs 
* Provide leadership for sourcing, logistics and resource management decisions 
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and new product introduction activities within Purchasing 
* Liaison with corresponding Category/Platform based Buyers

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
 
* Undergraduate degree from a college or university – or equivalent experience 
* Minimum of four years of progressively responsible job-related experience 
* Analytical, problem solving, and project leadership skills
Fluent in  English language 
* Extremely strong negotiator, able to interpret, analyze and negotiate contractual cost elements
* Effective communicator, in written and oral form * Functional leadership
 
 
 
Desired Qualifications:
 
* Fluent in  English language 
* Experience in purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, and/or engineering 
* Professional certification in Purchasing and/or Inventory Management
