As a Releasing Coordinator at Caterpillar Inc., you will have the opportunity to learn from and contribute to a cooperative team. You will actively engage with facility management, clients, and dealers in the purchasing and releasing functions related to material requirements. You will build your practical expertise while learning material requirement planning and scheduling.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for coordinating and ensuring all office functions are completed according to the established processes.
Expected to identify continuous improvement opportunities and assist in the training and development of personnel.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office.
Previous experience working with Excel spreadsheets.
Interact with management, team members and/or customers.
Problem resolution and multitasking are critical attributes for this position.
This position requires a strong team player who is willing to move into different job functions in order to help the team succeed.
Shipping or receiving process experience
Strong PC skills (i.e. Word, Excel, E-mail)
Top Candidates will also have:
Previous experience working with transportation companies.
Previous customer service experience
Strong communication skills
This is a 2nd shift position
This position may require weekend overtime work
