JOB PURPOSE: Cat Reman products are an important product offering to help our customers achieve the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). This position partners with assigned Cat dealers for Reman Sales Growth, as well as Reman Operations improvements in support of overall parts business plan achievement thru Sales Execution Big Rocks.
JOB RELATED STATISTICS: Geographical Responsibility: This position supports dealers in the Brisbane, Melbourne, and Jakarta Districts, for Reman Sales Growth and Reman Operations improvements in support of overall parts business plan achievement thru Sales Execution Big Rocks. Trakindo is a Phase 1 target dealer for Reman and represents substantial opportunity for Reman and will be a focus dealer in 2020 for growth and operational improvements. This position is critical in achieving and maintaining market access in Indonesia - a necessity for Trakindo to sell Reman.
Job duties Include but not limited too:
GASD Regional Reman Marketing Consultants play a critical role in helping achieve our Services growth goals while helping customer achieve the lowest possible Total Cost of Operating (TCO). The Reman Marketing Consultant must demonstrate creativity, foresight, business judgement, and outstanding product support or marketing/distribution knowledge as well as sensitivity to customer financial impact.
This position provides support in areas including NPI, Market and Distribution Needs, Customer and Dealer education, and Sales Execution.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
Partner with Cat Dealers to drive Reman awareness, education, lowest customer TCO, and understand specific industry needs to drive customer centric culture
Grow Market Access with Dealers who have High Lost opportunity and low Reman utilization
Work with GASD Sales Execution on Development Plan for Phase 1 dealers
Must have ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences.
Good human relations skills are required to develop a collaborative/cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the business unit.
Generally, requires extensive travel to understand regional or worldwide business conditions.
Developing expertise within government agencies, national associations, dealers and customer groups.
